I recommend visiting by your own vehicle. The road is smooth and well-maintained, easily accessible by both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- Start from Koteshwor and drive through Sallaghari and Kamalbinayak.
- Continue on Nagarkot Road toward Nagarkot.
- Follow the road through Saraswati Sthan and Mahamanjushree–Nagarkot Road.
- Turn left onto Bageshwori–Nagarkot Road and drive a few minutes to reach Bojinee Dam.

1. Nature Walk
The dam is surrounded by pine trees and greenery. Just take a round walk and explore the dam.

3. Dry Picnic
Bojinee Dam is one of the best dry picnic spots in Bhaktapur. You can choose any corner of the dam, sit there, and have food. But make sure not to leave any garbage there.

If you take a 30-minute ride from Bojinee Dam, you will get to explore many hidden waterfalls, including Nagarkot waterfall, Tudi Jharana, and Muhanpokhari.
